Honor Foundation
Helps you help others

Scholarships, Family Grants and matching funds are three of the great ways Honor Foundation provides benefits as outright gifts or increases your donation by matching funds. Like a family, we reach out to people who are struggling - those who are under the radar - maybe even your own family member or a neighbor. Everyone doing a little something makes big things possible.

Other highlights include:
  • An annual Charity Golf Tournament to benefit The Salvation Army youth programs. To date these tournaments have raised over $520,000.
  • Continuing Education scholarships to young people across the country.
  • Recognizing high school seniors who make this world a better place at our annual Salute to Youth™ banquet.
  • Awarding Family Grants to those in need of assistance with child or senior day care expenses, elementary and secondary school costs, including extracurricular fees and continuing education or college fees.
  • Co-sponsoring a fishing clinic for kids.
  • Donating gifts to Ronald McDonald House families in times of crisis.

Mission Statement
To financially support the educational and social needs of our members and their communities. This mission is accomplished as we: seek endowment funds to support this goal; help donors achieve their financial charitable goals; provide responsible and effective financial management of the funds; and distribute funds according to donor intent and community priorities.

How to make a contribution

Create a gift that keeps on giving...
Your life can continue to touch the lives of others for many years to come through a gift to the Degree of Honor Foundation. You can continue to help the causes that have been close to your heart. Gifts can be given through life insurance policies, savings accounts, stocks, bonds, real estate, mutual funds or cash donations.

You can give like a millionaire without having millions in the bank. Life insurance can help you increase your gifts to charity for a relatively modest investment.

Another benefit of a charitable gift to the Foundation is the ability to designate a specific cause or an area of interest. Designations cannot fall outside the parameters of the Degree of Honor Foundation mission statement.
